Breakfast and After School Club
King Charles Breakfast and After School Club is designed to support families in the King Charles school community. The main aim being to give working parents the assurance that their child will be cared for to the same quality standards and in the same ethos that the school offers.
All staff are employees of the school who receive regular training. The Club is run under the leadership of the Headteacher and Local Advisory Board of the school who have the responsibility for monitoring quality standards.
Ordinarily, the Club operates during term time from 8.00am until 8.45am and from 3.15pm until 5.30pm. There are twenty five spaces available in the mornings and forty five after school. Both Breakfast Club and After School Club is accommodated in our brand new, purpose built Breakfast and After School Club Room where children are offered a healthy breakfast snack and a drink.
The children have the opportunity to engage in a range of exciting activities both indoors and out of doors. They also play a part in the decision making in relation to the types of activities that they are interested in. This means that as far as possible activities are tailored to the interests of the children. There is also an opportunity for children to complete homework tasks set by their teacher during the day.

During the Covid pandemic, provision has been altered to ensure that our site remains Covid secure. We currently offer breakfast club every morning and after school club Mondays to Thursdays.
The Prices are:
Breakfast Club – £4.00 per session
After School Club – £8.00 per session – 10% reduction for each additional sibling
