Key Information
It is my pleasure to welcome you to King Charles School. I hope that through visiting our website, you will see exactly what makes our school so special and why we were recognised as ‘excellent’ in our Church (SIAMS) inspection in February 2020.
Being a Church School, Christian values are at the heart of all that we do and they support us in our aim to prepare our pupils for life. We pride ourselves on our caring, nurturing, exciting and enabling environment in which every child can thrive, feel safe and achieve; where everyone will shine. At King Charles, relationships are key to ensuring that we provide the best possible experience that a primary school can offer. We place great emphasis on building positive relationships with everyone in our school community: parents, pupils, staff and the wider community.
Through exploring our website, you will see that our core values of Friendship, Creativity, Aspiration, Teamwork and Achievement are the cornerstones of all that we do. We are passionate that our values serve everyone in our school family, not just the pupils in our school. Friendship is evident in the way in which all members of our school community build positive and respectful relationships. Creativity is thread throughout our curriculum and also reflects our creative practice here at King Charles. Our Ex-Days are a perfect example of this.
Aspiration flows through every level of our school whether that be pupils or staff: We set aspirational targets and support everyone in reaching their goals. Teamwork is everywhere at King Charles. Our staff teams, colleagues and schools within our Trust, Kernow Learning, partners and our pupils’ ability to work alongside each other. Achievement is central to the purpose of King Charles. Committed staff, partnership with parents and pupils’ desire to achieve, enable our pupils to thrive.
Our door is open to everyone. If you would like to learn more about our school please do make contact.
